Filmed on an American military base in Northern Japan during the repeal of the Don’t Ask Don’t Tell in 2011, Do Tell chronicles the lives of gay and lesbian military members both before and after the repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell.
“Do Tell” has been celebrated at numerous film festivals winning Best Documentary at the Cinemaslam competition at the Miami International Film Festival. Do Tell was an official selection at the GI Film Festival among several others, and was chosen to screen at Paramount Studios and the American Embassy in Tokyo.
